"Tree for Two" is the second episode of Season 1 of Squirrel Boy, and the second episode of the series overall. It, along with the previous episode, premiered on May 27, 2006 as a sneak peek of the series before the official series premiere began on July 14, 2006.

Summary[]

After Andy's toy rocket ends up on top of the tallest tree in the park, Rodney must climb up the tree and retrieve it.

Plot[]

Andy is about to launch his toy rocket in the park, but Rodney interferes by doing an examination determining something wrong with the rocket. He "fixes" the problem by wrecking the metal fins. Once the rocket is finally launched it gets stuck at the very top of the tallest tree in the park. Rodney climbs up to retrieve it, though finds himself pecked on the head by a bird and being fed its vomit.

Andy's father drops by wanting to spend time with his son. Andy wants to accept the offer, but he has to think of a lie to hide the truth about Rodney being stuck in the tree. Meanwhile, Rodney is passed out and enters a dream sequence involving foreign garden gnomes instructing him on how to get out of the tree.

Mr. J eventually calls a construction man to help retrieve the rocket from the tree. Andy and his dad shoot the rocket together, and it is at that moment that Rodney wakes up and tries to climb down from the tree, only to be catapulted flying through the air as the rocket shoots into his direction, causing him to have another dream sequence of the garden gnomes.
